In 1993 I started my adventure in basket weaving and it did not take long for it to become a passion for me. I have taken classes from many great weavers and very fine mentors along the way. After all these years I have now opened my own studio and gallery. In this gallery I have opened it to many friends and artist I admire to join me in showing and giving others the chance to own a piece of their work. I weave with a variety of materials. the baskets are from traditional to contemporary style. Custom baskets are a specialty also gourd art. Jim Eaves Jr:
Jim is a baskermaker and woodworker. His baskets are hand crated from hand pounded black ash. His trees come from New England area. The black ash gives each one it's special gleam. Jim's cutting boards are crafted from walnut, cherry, ash, and maple. The boards come in a variety of sizes and each are one of their own. Abby Bennett/ Soaps Abby is not only a soap maker but also teaches at Tomahawk school. Her love of aromas and scents has leas her to creating her own soaps. Aaron lives and
works is Shepherdstown WW. Even at a young age he had intriguing interest to
stone. From skipping a stone to stacking has taught him how to
visualize the natural aspects of stone in functional art. Each unique,
handcrafted piece, lives the true beauty of one of life’s simplest
formations come alive. His work can be found throughout the eastern
panhandle area.
SABINA PARKS/ Parks Design Studios:
Sabina has been active in
watercolor and crocheting since she was 5. After retiring she suffered
a paralyzing stroke. She switched to her left hand and has been great
therapy . She also has her art in the Ice House in Berkeley Springs,
WV. Sabina has also joined in this shop to creating boas and scarves in blue

Known as Gertie and is a native of WV. She has been weaving since 1995. She weaves both traditional and contemporary ,using kitchen tools and walking sticks.

Tammy has recreated a line of jewelry that while uniquely her, still remains the beauty and the sacredness of it’s past. Constantly experimenting with layers old filigree, pearls, and many colors of the antique natural stones is what enables her to explore and revitalize these pieces of History. She teaches in-home on site classes to beginners. Tammy has also created the blue and gold theme on her memory wire bracelets and earrings. She is willing to make custom colors for any school theme.
